Here is an Easy Crochet Headband Pattern to try. Now that the cold weather is finally here, I have started making a few Crochet Headbands for my girls. I think the thing they love most about the headband is that they don’t “mess up the hair” like a regular hat would. Check out the pattern, try it, and let me know what you think!
Size 6 Bulky Yarn (Yarn in pic is LionBrand Woolease)
10mm Crochet Hook
CH = Chain
HDC = Half Double Crochet
STS = Stitches
SL ST = Slip Stitch
The number in parenthesis below shows the total STS for each row.
Row 1: HDC in 3rd CH from hook and each across. (8 STS)
Row 2: CH 2 (Counts as First Stitch), turn, HDC in 2nd Stitch and in each Stitch across. (8 STS)
Row 3 – 20: Repeat Row 2.
After completion of Row 20, fold headband in half (ends together) and SL ST across end to end. Cut approximately a 6 inch tail and weave in ends.
