Here’s a great Crochet Scarf Pattern Using Double Crochet to start the day!
This Crochet Scarf Pattern Using Double Crochet is an absolutely easy to follow pattern for any beginner. I would like to point out that I only used 2 skeins of yarn to make this short scarf as it is for my 7 year old daughter, and doesn’t really need to be longer. However, if you wish for a longer scarf, my suggestion would be to use 3 skeins of a worsted weight yarn, instead of the 2 that were used in the below pic. I absolutely LOVE the color, and really wish I could remember the brand of yarn used.
Size 4 Worsted Weight Yarn
CH = Chain
DC = Double Crochet
STS = Stitches
ST = Stitch
Row 1: DC in third CH from hook and in each CH across. CH 2, turn. (24 STS)
Row 2: DC in first ST from hook and in each ST across. CH 2, turn. (24 STS)
Row 3 and on: Repeat Row 2 until scarf is desired length.
Cut a 6 to 8 inch tail and weave in ends using Yarn Needle.
